General
We pride ourselves that only high quality materials are used when tailoring both your jewellery and your stationery. At The Crystal Fairy all of our invitations, wedding stationery and jewellery are prepared to order. Each card is hand-made and there may therefore be subtle differences in materials and embellishments, which will in no way detract from the beauty of your specially-made card. It is advised that the prooducts sold by The Crystal Fairy are not suitable for children under the age of three as there may be small parts which could pose a choking hazard. The Crystal Fairy accept no responsibility for the effect, if any, the ageing process may have on their stationery or products. Payment To enable us to commence work we ask for a non-returnable deposit of 50% of the expected value of your order (unless your order is below £100, in which case we would ask for payment in full). Once this has been received and processed, work will commence. When work on your stationery or jewellery is nearing completion we will contact you to request the remaining balance and to arrange a convenient date for despatch of your order. Payments can be by cheque, made payable to Toni Gregory, or by credit or debit card through PayPal (please e-mail toni@thecrystalfairy.co.uk for further details). The personalised nature of our products means that returns will not be accepted unless we have failed to meet the specification of the order. If this applies, all items must be returned to us before work on replacement goods can commence. Payment of your deposit will be taken as acceptance of all terms and conditions mentioned on this website. Timing We
advise that invitations should be sent out no later than six weeks prior
to your wedding day, however twelve weeks is probably best, especially
during the busy summer months. From receipt of signed approval of your
design (and clearance of cheque, if applicable), we would like at least
six to eight weeks to produce your invitations. If you do need your
invitations in a hurry however we will of course do our best to accommodate
you! You will receive a sample of the stationery ordered to enable you to check that the colour and the wording etc are to your complete satisfaction. Once you are happy with the “proofs” and have confirmed this in writing to us, we will commence work on your order. Please note that proof-reading is the responsibility of the client, so please ensure you check your proofs VERY carefully! Any changes made after The Crystal Fairy have received your written acceptance may be charged for accordingly. Should you subsequently cancel your order after work has begun, you will be liable to pay for work undertaken up to the point of cancellation, which exceeds the deposit amount. Delivery All items will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier and will require a signature upon delivery. Postage costs are dependent on the amount and type of items ordered, and will be specified at the time of order, up to a maximum of £18.00 (mainland UK). The Crystal Fairy cannot accept any responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit, although every endeavour will be made to ensure your goods are adequately packaged and insured. A Final Word … I know that you will love any item from The Crystal Fairy – whether you purchase a full “package”, or simply one item. With your wedding stationery, like many couples before you you will have been involved in creating something unique and will be left with something to treasure forever. I would be delighted if you would recommend our services to your single friends …. or even your married ones!
