General Information

As a general rule most adults require scaling and polishing every three months to

keep their teeth and gums in a healthy condition.BUPA Dental Cover offer an

excellent maintenance scheme and we are happy to recommend this to all our

patients. Please ask for details. It is practice policy to inform you of costs before any

treatment is started. We are happy to discuss your treatment requirements and fully

explain all the options open to you. This id done without any obligation on your part.

For complex treatment we will provide a written treatment plan and quotation. We

take Visa, Mastercard and Switch, as well as cheques with a card or cash. We are

always happy to discuss methods of payment for extensive treatment prior to the

commencement of that treatment.

On the upper floor of the practice is a dental technician, Philip Smith, he provides a

high standard of crown and bridgework as well as porcelain veneers. He is available to

assist in shade taking and to be involved in ensuring that you are satisfied with your

crown, bridge or veneer that you are investing in.

Dental Emergencies

If you need to be seen urgently e.g. toothache, fractured tooth etc, then contact the

practice as early as possible in the day, and we will do our best to see you that day,

or within 24 hours. If it is outside surgery hours then telephone the practice and an

answer machine will give you a telephone number to contact. We are happy to

provide an out of hours emergency service for our patients.
